The UK’s Labour government is making some sensible decisions on nuclear energy but must make a final investment decision on Sizewell C and finish the process of technology selection for the country’s planned deployment of small modular reactors (SMRs), Tom Greatrex, chief executive of the London-based Nuclear Industry Association (NIA), said in an interview on 3 February.
