Electricity production from the Olkiluoto-3 nuclear power plant in Finland has been pushed back to the end of February – a delay from the first half of February because of modifications needed following the test production phase, utility and plant owner Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) said.
The EPR plant is now scheduled to begin regular electricity production in July 2022, a delay of about a month from the previous schedule.
The latest delay follows a delay announced last month caused by an unplanned automatic trip on 14 January. TVO said the causes of the trip were identified and corrective measures taken.
