A $550bn (€475bn) agreement signed by US president Donald Trump in Tokyo this week includes $332bn of commitments by Japan and various Japanese companies to support critical energy infrastructure in the US, including the construction of AP1000 and small modular reactors (SMRs) in partnership with Westinghouse, the White House said.
