Thorizon And Urenco Sign Agreement To Explore Fuel Supply For Molten Salt Reactors

Franco-Dutch nuclear startup Thorizon and uranium enrichment company Urenco have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore cooperation on fuel supplies for molten salt reactors, including the potential use of depleted uranium, a statement said.

The statement said the agreement covers Urenco’s potential role in supplying enriched uranium for Thorizon One reactors, which Thorizon is targeting for deployment in the mid-2030s.
