It is clear the world is at a key moment for nuclear, from extending the lifespan of existing nuclear power plants to deploying small modular reactors, but more work is needed on harmonisation to boost the rollout of new generation plants, International Atomic Energy Agency director-general Rafael Grossi told the World Nuclear Association Symposium in London.
