Canada-based nuclear reactor developer Terrestrial Energy announced it has completed in partnership with Orano USA a regulatory evaluation of packaging and cross-border transportation of nuclear fuel for its Generation IV integral molten salt reactor (IMSR).
The company said in a statement that the effort shows that nuclear fuel packaging already used by Orano today industry is suitable for the transportation and supply of IMSR fuel.
