6 Jun (NucNet): The total amount of radioactive substance released from the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear plant in the weeks following the March 2011 accident was about 900 petabecquerels (PBq or quadrillion Bq) – about 4,000 PBq less than the total released from Chernobyl, new figures show.
