Nuclear plant’s lifetime to be extended by 30 years
South Korea’s state-owned Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Company (KHNP) has announced the formation of a consortium with Canada’s Candu Energy and Italy’s Ansaldo Nucleare for the refurbishment of Unit 1 at the Cernavodă nuclear power station in Romania.
