The safety situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station in Ukraine remains precarious, with six of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s indispensable pillars of nuclear safety and security compromised, agency director-general Rafael Grossi said in a statement to the board of governors on 8 September.
