UK state-owned Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) has announced its approach to selecting new sites for geological disposal facilities for nuclear waste in England and Wales, a statement by the company said.The evaluation process starts following open consultations in the area and “geological disposal facilities will only be built where there is both a willing community and a suitable site”, the statement said.
