Russia’s nuclear equipment manufacturer Atommash has shipped the reactor pressure vessel and two steam generators for the second unit at the Rooppur nuclear power station under construction in Bangladesh, a statement by parent company Atomenergomash said.

Russia is building two VVER-1,200 pressurised water reactor units at the Rooppur site, about 150 km from the capital Dhaka, under a general contract signed in 2015.
