Russia’s fleet of commercial nuclear power plants met the state target of generating 215.339 billion kWh of electricity generation ahead of schedule on 27 December 2025, state nuclear corporation Rosatom said.

The figure is higher than the 214 billion kWh generated in 2024, but significantly lower than that 217 billion kWh generated in 2023.

Rosatom said the achievement was made possible by the limiting the number of days lost to repair and maintenance across the fleet to 149.
