The fourth tier of the internal steel containment shell for Unit 1 of the Akkuyu nuclear power station under construction in southwest Turkey has been installed, according to Russian engineering and construction company Titan 2.
Titan 2 said the component, with a weight of 142 tonnes and a height of 8 metres, took about 13 hours to lift into place.
