UK-based Rolls-Royce has signed a partnership agreement with US-based Analysis and Measurement Services Corporation (AMS) to provide advanced instrumentation and control system (I&C) testing services to the global nuclear energy market.
In a statement, Rolls-Royce said that under the agreement the two companies will provide services related to monitoring the performance and health of I&C components like neutron detectors, pressure transmitters, temperature probes, cables and connection.
Eric Blanc, president of Rolls-Royce Civil Nuclear France, said: “The establishment of this partnership with AMS will allow us to bring complementary predictive maintenance solutions to our customers, and thus improve the performance and reliability of their nuclear facilities.”
“AMS has been in business for over 40 years serving all the nuclear power plants in the United States and many in Europe and Asia. AMS’ partnership with Rolls-Royce will add a significant new dimension to AMS’ worldwide footprint”, said AMS president H.M. Hashemian.
