Move comes soon after company’s Byron and Dresden reactors were saved from closure
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission has approved the indirect transfer of the licences for 23 operating and five decommissioning reactors from Exelon Corporation – the nation’s largest operator of nuclear plants – to a new company as part of a corporate restructuring.
