A letter of interest for US$1.45bn (€1.41bn) in financing from Export Development Canada (EDC) to support the project to build Poland’s first nuclear power plant will help prepare Canada’s nuclear supply chain to support the next AP1000 plant in North America, nuclear plant supplier Westinghouse said.
