PM Says Ministers Will Meet In Bid To Get Approval For Kashiwazaki Kariwa Restart
Kashiwazaki Kariwa is the world’s biggest nuclear station with seven units and a net installed capacity of about 7,965 MW.
Japan’s prime minister Fumio Kishida said on 27 August that ministers will meet next week to discuss steps needed to secure local consent for restarting Tokyo Electric Power Company’s (Tepco) Kashiwazaki Kariwa nuclear power station.
