Barakah nuclear station 93% complete, overall
Emirati nuclear operator Nawah Energy Company has started fuel loading at Unit 1 of the Barakah nuclear station near Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, a statement by the company said.Barakah-1 was earlier this week granted a licence by the United Arab Emirates’ nuclear regulator authorising operation for a period of 60 years. The licence also gave the green light for fuel loading to begin.
