US power producer Talen Energy has selected Linxon, a joint venture between Hitachi Energy and SNC-Lavalin, to provide three substations that will deliver power from Talen’s Susquehanna nuclear power station in Pennsylvania to a bitcoin mining data centre under construction by Talen subsidiary Cumulus.
