The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has approved the licence transfer for the shut-down Kewaunee nuclear power station in in Wisconsin from Dominion Nuclear Projects to EnergySolutions.
The NRC said the transfer includes the general licence for Kewaunee’s spent nuclear fuel storage facility.
