Norway’s’ Norsk Kjernekraft has signed a memorandum of understanding with US-based advanced reactor developer X-energy to explore the deployment of small modular reactors (SMRs) in Norway, the Norwegian nuclear energy company said last week.
Norsk Kjernekraft said the agreement follows the signing in August 2024 of a similar agreement with South Korea’s DL Energy and DL Engineering & Construction.
