New mandates cover areas such as energy security and climate change
The International Energy Agency said a ministerial meeting in Paris that concluded on Thursday marked “the launch of a new phase of the agency” with a series of new mandates setting out its mission and the announcement of plans to strengthen cooperation with other organisations, including the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Nuclear Energy Agency.
