Established industries such as nuclear, oil and gas typically offer the highest wages, but the share of women working in senior positions in the nuclear sector is the lowest at only 8%, a report by the International Energy Agency says.

The report, World Energy Employment, says women are strongly under-represented in the energy sector. Despite making up 39% of global employment, women account for only 16% of traditional energy sectors.
