US climate change envoy focusing on financing energy transition
The International Energy Agency held a high-profile roundtable with climate and energy leaders from around the world in Paris on 20 February, including the presidents of the forthcoming Cop29 and Cop30 climate conferences, to discuss the next energy transition steps focusing on large multilateral public and private finance initiatives and new clean technologies, including nuclear power.
