Over 1.3 million tonnes of water being released into ocean near nuclear station
Analysis by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of treated water, which Tokyo Electric Power Company (Tepco) began discharging from the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear power station confirmed that the tritium concentration was far below Japan’s operational limit.
