Bill also expands programmes for range of commercial nuclear reactors
The US House of Representatives voted 220 to 185 to pass the Clean Economy Jobs and Innovation Act, which creates a high-assay, low-enriched uranium (Haleu) research and development programme to develop Haleu fuel for advanced nuclear reactors by 31 December 2025.
