The Polish government will adopt this year a long-term programme to support investments in infrastructure related to the construction of the country’s first commercial nuclear power station in the northern province of Pomerania near the Baltic coast.

The government said in a statement that the programme covers the planning and implementation of infrastructure investments from 2022 to 2029. Investments will include roads, railways, and the development of transmission networks.
