Output has fallen more than 4% since 2022 with retired capacity not yet replaced
Russia’s fleet of 36 commercial nuclear power plants generated over 214 billion kWh of electricity in 2024, meeting national targets but falling more than 1.3% over the 217 billion kWh generated in 2023, state nuclear corporation Rosatom said.
