Flagship project, 12 years behind schedule with estimated cost of €13.2 billion, could reach full power by end of year
France’s nuclear regulator Autorite de Surete Nucleaire (ASN) has authorised the commissioning of the delayed Flamanville-3 EPR reactor in Normandy, allowing owner and operator EDF to load nuclear fuel and begin startup tests.
