Full-scale irradiation service at Candu reactor could begin in 2028
French nuclear company Framatome and Romanian state nuclear operator Nuclearelectrica have begun the implementation phase of a project to produce the medical radioisotope lutetium-177 (Lu-177) at the Cernavodă nuclear power station in Romania.
