A €7.6m contract has been signed for the design of buildings and utilities for the first phase of the Myrrha nuclear research facility, the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre SCK•CEN has confirmed.SCK•CEN said the contract, the first for the project, includes water and electricity for the facility. It was signed with Belgian company Tractebel and Spanish company Empresarios Agrupados.Twelve months ago the Belgian government announced financing of €558m towards the development of the Myrrha facility.
