EU Grid Synchronisation On Track For 2025 As Estonia Pushes Ahead With Nuclear
The European Commission said in 2022 there was ‘no evidence’ that electricity produced at the Belarusian nuclear station was being sold on the Baltic market.
The three Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are on track to desynchronise their electricity grids from the Russian grid and synchronise with the European Union’s (EU) grid by early 2025, according to Estonian EU energy commissioner Kadri Simson.
