Ethiopia is considering the possibility of building a two-unit nuclear power station with the participation of Russia as Moscow continues its charm offensive to sell nuclear technology to the African continent.The state-owned Tass news agency said the announcement came from Ethiopia’s minister of innovation and technology, Getahun Mekuriya Kuma, on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa summit in Sochi.“We are considering two areas of cooperation. The first area is a research reactor, isotopes, training of our engineers and specialists,” Tass quoted Mr Kuma as saying.“The second area is the construction of two units of a nuclear power station.”
