The inclusion of nuclear in Europe’s sustainable finance taxonomy is vital for the industry, but decisions need to be science and fact-based, recognising not only that nuclear is low-carbon, but that it does not do significant harm, Philippe Knoche, chief executive officer of French nuclear services company Orano told Politico.
