China has poured first concrete for the construction of two new domestic Hualong One pressurised water reactor units at the Changjiang and Sanaocun (also known as Zhejiang Sanao and San’ao) nuclear sites.
State-owned China General Nuclear (CGN) and China Huaneng Group (CHG) said in separate statements that the milestone developments took place on 28 December for what will be Changjiang-4 and 30 December for Sanaocun-2.
