Ministers offer backing for development and deployment
The climate, energy and environment ministers of the G7 group of advanced industrial nations, after a summit meeting in Turin, Italy, said in a joint statement on 30 April that they would provide strong support to countries seeking to develop and deploy advanced nuclear technologies such as small modular reactors (SMRs) and advanced modular reactors (AMRs), including microreactors.
