The Kanupp-3 nuclear power plant under construction in Pakistan has entered the commissioning phase after the completion of cold testing, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) announced.
CNNC said the main purpose of cold testing is to verify the security of the primary circuit and components and the function of relevant components and systems. It is the first comprehensive test of the whole reactor’s performance.
