Beijing aiming for 10% nuclear share by 2035, up from 4.5% today
China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) announced on 17 December that it has started the main construction phase of Unit 6 at the Ningde nuclear power station in Fujian province in the southeast of China, following the successful pouring of first concrete for the nuclear island.
