China has reported construction milestones at three nuclear power projects, with the installation of key reactor and containment components at sites in Liaoning, Guangxi and Guangdong provinces.

At the Xudapu-1* nuclear power unit in Liaoning, northeastern China, the pressuriser was lifted into position in late January.

The pressuriser is a major component of the reactor coolant system and is used to control pressure in the primary circuit.
