Russia’s Tvel Nuclear fuel company, a subsidiary of state nuclear corporation Rosatom, has signed a contract to supply nuclear fuel for the planned Units 3 and 4 at the Xudabao (also spelled Xudapu) nuclear power station in Liaoning Province, northeast China.Tvel signed the contract with China Nuclear Energy Industry Corporation, China National Nuclear Power Company, Liaoning Nuclear Power and CNNP Suneng Nuclear Power. All are subsidiaries of state-owned China National Nuclear Corporation.The contract includes fuel supplies for the first fuel load and as and “several further refuelings,” Tvel said.
