Centrus Announces $60 Million Investment In Bid For Large-Scale Uranium Enrichment Boost

US nuclear fuel supplier Centrus Energy is to invest an additional $60m (€57m) over the next 18 months in its manufacturing facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to lay the groundwork to support a potential large-scale expansion of uranium enrichment at a separate facility, its American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio.
