Low-enriched uranium will help fuel South Korea’s fleet of 26 nuclear power plants
US-based Centrus Energy and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) have entered into a conditional purchase commitment that will support construction of new uranium enrichment capacity at Centrus’ American Centrifuge Plant in Piketon, Ohio.
