Uranium company wants to become ‘fuel supplier of choice’ for emerging reactor market
Canadian uranium company Cameco and X-energy of the US have signed an agreement to explore possible areas of cooperation to support the potential future deployment, fuelling and servicing of Xe-100 small modular reactors in Canada and the US, with Cameco saying it plans to become “a fuel supplier of choice” for the emerging SMR and advanced reactor market.
