The Canadian Nuclear Association has welcomed the International Energy Agency’s “clear and direct support” for the key role of nuclear power in reducing carbon emissions in Canada, while calling for policy reforms to allow small modular reactor demonstration projects to be delivered on time in the late 2020s.
