‘Significant operational milestone’ for ATF programme
French fuel manufacturer Framatome said its lead accident tolerant fuel (ATF) rods have been reinserted to begin a new fifth cycle of operation at Switzerland’s Gösgen nuclear power station after completing successful examinations.
