Europe's first space nuclear conference heads to Prague
Leading experts from the global space and nuclear communities gather in Prague on 23–24 November for ANTS 2026, the first European conference dedicated entirely to nuclear technologies for space applications.
Organised by the European Nuclear Society, the two-day event addresses the scientific, technological and policy challenges facing the field. Optional technical tours complement the main programme.
Sessions span fission power systems, nuclear propulsion, radioisotope technologies, fuel development, testing infrastructures, mission architectures, and regulatory and safety frameworks. Policy and security topics include export control, safeguards and non-proliferation.
The conference was established to fill a gap: no regular European forum currently exists to connect the nuclear and space sectors as both rapidly expand.
